I received the scale from Withings through Influenster to test. I must say I am skeptical if it really works. Maybe because I don't understand all the information displayed on the screen? The design of the scale is great, very nice and elegant! It comes with support feet if you want to use the scale on a carpet. I noticed that the scale doesn't work well to show, for example, vascular age, when wearing socks. You can only see this and other info after weighing yourself five times. To enjoy all the features, you need to connect your phone and wifi to the scale. You can also choose not to see all the information when weighing yourself, only your weight. I would recommend the scale for those who understand the features and have a goal, such as reducing fat levels or building more muscles, otherwise you will just be confused with so much information.

I'm currently making a concerted effort to lose weight, so I was really excited for the chance to try this Withings scale and compare it to my existing smart scale.I began my weightloss journey in November 2022, and I've lost over 75 pounds since then.At that time, I purchased the cheapest 'smart scale' I could find, which was the Arboleaf.For 8 months I've weighed myself religiously, every single day, first thing in the morning with my Arboleaf, and for the past two weeks I've added in the Withings Body Comp scale and the Withings Body Smart scale to my morning routine.Here's how they stack up.--Not once - not a single time - did all three scales precisely agree on my weight.However...they were always off by less than a pound, AND they were always off in the same order.The Arboleaf consistently measured me the heaviest, then the Withings Body Comp, then the Withings Body Smart being the lightest.--The Withings Body Comp scale is definitely pretty.It's sleek and looks and feels like a quality product.-- The only metric that was consistently off between the Arboleaf and the Withings scales was my estimated visceral fat.All other metrics were very consistent.I've lost a tone of weight, but I have a ton left to lose, so I'm thinking the Arboleaf, which measured my visceral fat much higher than both Withings did, is probably correct.--All smart scales require a phone app for tracking and any truly useful look at the scale's data.Withings' app is absolutely terrible.I can't stand it.It's clunky and cluttered and hard to use.The Arboleaf's app, in comparison, is intuitive and makes it very easy to visualize all your data and progress.I am somewhat shocked that the supposed Cadillac of scales has such a terrible app. I suppose I might hate it less if I hadn't been using the Arboleaf app first.--I could never get the alleged WiFi connections to work on either scale, so I used Bluetooth the while time.--The price, in my opinion, makes this $200 scale completely not worth it, considering that my $30 Arboleaf does almost all the same things, is easier to use, and is accurate when compared to the two Withings scales.The Withings scale IS a nice scale, to be clear, but I like my Arboleaf better.TL/DR:Unless you want specific modes for pregnancy and babies, you can get almost all these same features - plus a way better app - for $30 instead of $200.In my opinion, the extra money is absolutely not worth it.

I have owned a Withings smart scale since the very first model, from before they were purchased by Nokia, all the way through their spinoff back to their own company again.There are several different models of Withings scales, so depending on your needs you may be happy with the basic model that only records weight and fat composition, to this model which calculates weight, body fat, heart rate, cardiovascular age, and even provides weather and air quality information!The only feature this scale doesn't have is the ECG reading which will be available on their newer model later this year.What I love about this scale is how it records your weight progress over time.I started using my original scale in 2009. Looking back at my history, I can actually go back to 2011 and see all of my weight readings and a trend over time; a feature I love and my wife hates.The overall trend is very beneficial, and I feel like it's a motivator to reach a certain goal. This scale will even ask you what your weight goal is to help coach you back to that weight by informing you of your progress.Unlike some of the other Withings scales, this one uses regular AAA batteries rather than a rechargeable, but they last so long that you only need to replace them every few years.I'm very happy with this scale and so glad I ordered it.

Fantastic scale with many features
I received this voxbox from influencers and I am really excited about this scale. Along with an app on the phone, it provides so many possibilities. It is easy to install and use the scale, and I am glad that multiple accounts can be created for users. And one's data and weight information cannot be seen by others. It looks great in design and fits well with modern decor. Easy to clean and place it under a cabinet if there is no space. I am super happy to have the opportunity to try out the new Withings scale, the body comp, as I am in a weight loss program. My health is very important to me and with this scale, I can better monitor my values.

I received this as part of a trial and have tried it, finding that it works just as promised. The device's measurements are comprehensive and it's great to be able to save them all to my phone and view the results from my phone. It motivates me to exercise and eat well. The design is nice and modern. 4 stars because of the high price, quite expensive for a scale.

(Yes, okay, it's piano black and yes, you can see everything on it, footprints, dust, everything, but it's still chic.) When you first turn on the scale and configure it with your phone, then the joy of every user, UPDATES! The updates took a moment and boom, the fun could begin. The scale has multiple sensors, allowing for more precise measurements. With the WITHINGS app, you have all the measurement values at a glance and can get an overview of your own body. It measures weight, body fat percentage, body water, visceral fat, bone mass, muscle mass, vascular age, etc. You can tell that the developers wanted to create an all-in-one package for people. Personally, I think it's a nice feature to know how your body is doing. Of course, everyone has a love-hate relationship with their own body, hates stepping on the scale, but I have to say, it makes you live more consciously. I have lived more consciously in the first two weeks using the scale, sounds strange, but a few pounds are already gone. GREAT. Great Scale with Amazing Accuracy
I was excited to try the The WITHINGS Body Comp Scale because my primary care physician uses a body composition scale in her office and I always thought I’d like to have one.The scale came well packed in the normal shipping box in addition to an outer Withings box and an inner, more padded Withings box.The setup for the scale was pretty straightforward as the accompanying app, available on Apple or the Google Store, walk you through the process, including connecting to your WiFi.After I got the setup complete, I was notified that there was an update available.The update downloaded without any hiccups and I was ready to start using the scale.This scale provides accurate weight readings along with body composition measures for Heart Rate, Vascular Age, and an Electrodermal Activity score. It can also display the day’s weather and air quality.The scale even told me I was dehydrated, and I was! 😳 Amazingly, I find all of the measures to be very accurate.What blew me away is that the scale can keep metrics for additional users and has the ability to recognize each users once they step on the scale, if they have completed their profile.The app for the scale has worked flawlessly.It records and stores 7 days of metrics.It also uses bar graphs to show trends in your weight, body composition and vascular age. I do wish there was a bar graph for the heat rate.I actually look forward to using this scale daily, not just for watching my weight, but because of all the other beneficial information that it provides related to my health.

Love the scale and all of the information it provides
I was able to easily download the app and set the scale up. However, I really wish I could have turned on the scale and used it without needing to download an app. I'm really tired of filling my phone up with battery sucking apps. Regardless, this is a really nice scale and gives me way more information than any scale prior. The color screen is absolutely amazing and the sleek, glass scale is lovely. Just keep in mind that it isn't possible to take it out of the box and immediately use it. If you're okay with downloading an app, you'll love this scale!

Easy set up, works great!
This scale was super easy to set up. I was a bit worried because it required an app, but it was very smooth and easy to install on my phone and easy to sync with the scale.It measures a variety of different things besides weight, so it will also calculate percent fat, percent lean, and percent visceral fat.It’s a nice touch that when it’s done it tells you the weather for the day.Very easy to use and I’m looking forward to being able to measure progress over time on a variety of measures.

I received the scale about 2 weeks ago and unpacked it right away. The design of the scale is very elegant. The installation of the app and the scale was relatively quick. The configuration is totally simple and self-explanatory. Important, you should have the Wi-Fi password ready... There are many values given, some only after the 5th weighing. Good Scale
I received the scale about 2 weeks ago and unpacked it right away. The design of the scale is very elegant. The installation of the app and the scale was relatively quick. The configuration is totally simple and self-explanatory. Important, you should have the Wi-Fi password ready... There are many values given, some only after the 5th weighing. I would only buy it in white, as the footprints are still visible on the black after weighing and it also gets dusty quickly. I am thrilled and do not regret buying this scale.

high tech scale
This is like Apple or Dyson level high tech scale. It's so fancy packaged like one, the opening experience is just the same. Anyways, the setup was easy and it connected to my iPhone without a problem. Its app syncs to the health app. You can also track a lot of fitness and sleep things in their app as well. Their app is ok. It tracks fine but it's not as intuitive as I'd like. Nevertheless, the scale is very well built with metal and glass. It comes with carpet feet adapters but I didn't find those giving accurate readings. I do weight more than 30lbs. So I just stuck with using it in the bathroom where there's vinyl flooring. There it was accurate, to my dismay; there's an extra 5lbs I swore wasn't there earlier. It's got some high tech sensors that can read if I'm dehydrated, my fat amount, heart rate, and even sweat glands. It even told me the weather temperature. Are those reading accurate? Heart rate, yes; or at least match my Apple Watch. Hydration, oxygen, and temperature, yes. Fat amount and sweat glands; no idea but probably right. It tells you things that you didn't know you needed to know about yourself. If you're an athlete or someone looking to know their body better or looking to get healthy, this is a good investment. It's costly but it's cheaper than getting separate devices to get these readings.

The packaging was good. It had extra styrofoam around it so it wouldn't break. The setup was self-explanatory. I quickly entered my data. With the many extras that can be entered, it's more like a regular scale. I'm currently changing my diet and the data is supporting me.

Poor Product, Poor Customer Support
I've been a Withings customer for a number of years and have recommended the scales to family/friends numerous time. No more. I purchased the new Body Comp scale and had an experience every consumer electronics device manufacturer should take note of. Let me start with I recently had a DEXA scan so I know what my fat % is. My much older Withings scale was within about 2% of the DEXA so no issues. The new Body Comp was about 8% off - that's a problem. I reached out to support and have experienced one frustration after another over many weeks of trying to resolve. The support person was simply not capable of handling concern. My explanation of 'my new scale is off by 8%+ from my DEXA scan' was met with 'let me explain what Body Fat % is' then a near-refusal to escalate. I actually wasn't put-off that it was inaccurate - it's a new product and I know a software update might get things sorted. Withings support then tried to educate me that 'it's not about the accuracy, it's about the trend'. Sure, if you're +/- 2-3% I can buy that but 8%+ is simply in the land of no credibility. Yes, we factory reset the unit and I did everything possible to sort at their direction. In the end, the agent refused (after 10+ emails and me calling in) to replace the unit and I agreed just to return it. It's also worth noting that the $200+ price tag includes a $99/year subscription to Health+ (the only way you could get the scale) and, as far as I can tell, Health+ provides close to zero material value. Something is very broken at Withings and they've lost a longstanding, otherwise very patient early adopter and customer.

The “Body Composition” scale has been a “Game Changer” for me! I thought I just wanted to lose some weight, but this scale has helped me better understand the effects of nutrition and exercise on my body composition. With this scale I can answer questions like: “How much Cardio exercise is too much?” and “How many days a week and what types of training sessions with weights give me the most muscle gain?” After looking at the data, I now workout LESS, while achieving BETTER overall body re-composition (gaining muscle while losing fat). It’s going to take me a while, but at least I know without a doubt that I’m moving in the right direction. I now see the number on the scale (my weight) in a very different way. It’s only ONE component of MANY to track for good health! So, to dive deeper, I decided to get the “ScanWatch” to track my sleep at night and movement throughout the day. I LOVE the HealthMate App (since it works flawlessly with the Apple Health App). The Withings website is easy to navigate; the products are shipped quickly; and I received exceptional responses from Customer Service / Technical Support when I had questions.

The scale is built very well, is easily readable from 6'2 above, is accurate on readings and configures easily to the Android app. A few downsides is that the data transfer from the scale to the app is sometimes delayed, not showing up for a day or two after the reading is taken. Overall, excellent
The scale is built very well, is easily readable from 6'2' above, is accurate on readings and configures easily to the Android app. A few downsides is that the data transfer from the scale to the app is sometimes delayed, not showing up for a day or two after the reading is taken. Also, on a very minor point, the weather forecast is never correct. :) Overall, highly recommended.

Absolutely the BEST!
The “Body Composition” scale has been a “Game Changer” for me! I thought I just wanted to lose some weight, but this scale has helped me better understand the effects of nutrition and exercise on my body composition. With this scale I can answer questions like: “How much Cardio exercise is too much?” and “How many days a week and what types of training sessions with weights give me the most muscle gain?” After looking at the data, I now workout LESS, while achieving BETTER overall body re-composition (gaining muscle while losing fat). It’s going to take me a while, but at least I know without a doubt that I’m moving in the right direction. I now see the number on the scale (my weight) in a very different way. It’s only ONE component of MANY to track for good health! So, to dive deeper, I decided to get the “ScanWatch” to track my sleep at night and movement throughout the day. I LOVE the HealthMate App (since it works flawlessly with the Apple Health App). The Withings website is easy to navigate; the products are shipped quickly; and I received exceptional responses from Customer Service / Technical Support when I had questions.

My scale
I love the scale it’s amazing. I’ve had many scales that do body composition and it is by far the best. I love the app, and the way the scale communicates with the app through the Network not only through Bluetooth. Great job! Thank you very much for the great product and app!

Not yet finished
Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be finished yet. The device constantly performs measurements on its own. As a result, the batteries are empty after 1 week. Once the batteries become weak, the measurements are incorrect.

I believe the scales are ok from the hardware perspective, they sometimes are inconsistent with measurements, but it's rather minor. Main improvement can be done with the app UI.

Incomprehensible
I do not see any significant differences from the previous model which I have. The new measurements there are not on the dashboard in my account. I use it with all Withings products except watch.

Vascular age measurement worries
Great method of keeping an eye on all important body measurements. However, I have experienced problems with the vascular age measurement, not giving a reading or giving a higher age reading!!

Excellent Scale!
I like the speed of measurement! I have the Withings Body+, which I liked, however the Withings Body Comp is much faster. Provides a lot more measurements too.
