Impact of Brexit on withings.com

Starting on January 1st 2021, tax management is changing on withings.com and may impact customers. Here is what you need to know.

All Withings products ship from France.

Prices are now displayed excluding tax.

Up until now, our products prices were displayed including a 20% sales tax. This tax will not be part of the displayed price on the website, and will be calculated during checkout. Duty may apply and is to be paid by the customer.

A £135.00 threshold is now in effect. This is also valid for discounted prices. Different rules will apply on your order, depending on its amount:

• Below £135.00, a 20% sales tax will be collected on checkout. No additional fees (including customs fees) are expected to be applied on the order. Nothing to be paid at delivery.

• From £135.01, no tax will be collected by Withings but by the carrier at delivery. Customs fees and duties may apply on your order and payable at delivery.

Carriers add an extra charge to handle customs:

Standard Shipping (Colissimo and Parcel Force) : Goes through Parcel Force in the UK, £12.00 handling fees. Storage fees may apply after 10 days of no response.

Express Shipping (DHL) : DHL charges £11.00 handling fees.

Please note that for customs duty above £440 the handling fees are 2.5% of the total duty and/or VAT.
