For the price, you can actually expect more
I bought the scale because it was recommended in Apple Health. Unfortunately, I was disappointed by both the function and the brand. The installation and setup of the scale through the app was problematic. Only on the third attempt did the app even recognize the scale, which was probably due to the fact that the app's information during the connection was not necessarily understandable. Why do you need Bluetooth if you want to use WLAN? After the connection eventually worked, I expected to see the data in Health - at least eventually. But it didn't work. After some time, I found out that the data was only transferred when you log in to the app. So, to see the data, you had to log out and then log back in. That was the knockout criterion, and the scale was returned. I can't say much about the accuracy. The processing was good, but the display looked like it was from the nineties. Okay, it's a scale, and weight is the focus. But if you feel like you're standing on a device from a previous century, it's not necessarily motivating.

Inconsistent weight reading
Love the app, love the display, love the form factor of the product. This would be an easy 5 stars if it could give reliable measurements but it can't. Weight readings taken right after each other can vary by several pounds. I've just started weighing myself three times before I get in the shower each morning because I know I can't trust a single reading.

Best wifi scale out there
I had one of these when they originally came out, and then regrettably let myself get past the weight limit, so I was forced to change to a different brand. I'm not kidding when I say part of my motivation to lose weight included my desire to get back to the ease of use of this scale! You step on, get your measurement, and the thing sends it to the cloud, where things like myfitnesspal or apple health can pick up the measurements without you even thinking about it. It's amazingly convenient. Their app is fantastic too, and the price of this thing just cant be beat. It's also gives you the day's weather, if that's your thing.

If you want a scale that weighs accurately, does BMI, connects to a reliable app and doesn't do weird body composition trickery, this could be perfect. It's also larger than some of the cheaper ones so you don't feel like you're doing some balancing challenge first thing in the morning. The display is clear and the battery life is good. You don't have to have your phone nearby or charged to get a reading, it is synced over wi-fi and you can check it later. Works with multiple users. The app is also excellent with a clean design and rich features. Superb scales!

When weighing repeatedly, the displayed values fluctuate by up to 0.5 kg. The scale is on a flat tiled floor. The time intervals between measurements are around 1 minute. The batteries are new. So everything is as prescribed. Too bad. 50€ down the drain.

I never thought I'd say I love my scale.I had to convince myself to buy a nice scale and I am so glad I did. I love the convince of the app to see past weights and trends. A Great Scale for the money
I first found out about this scale when I joined Noom. I am so glad that I ordered it. Not only does it give you an accurate weight, it also gives you your body mass index and the weather as well. Another feature that I like about it is that it also sinks with your phone through the app.

I bought this particular scale primarily for the WiFi data storage capability which most scales don't have.The scale and phone application was a little tricky to configure as instructions were not that clear.The scale has plastic feet which can slide out from under you on a smooth surface which is potentially dangerous for an unsteady or elderly person (they need to address this for safety).The readability could be better if the digits were larger or were red LEDs like other scales I've seen. The scale will not acquire a weight measurement unless your feet are perfectly centered over the platform which could be a nuisance for an elderly person.One feature I could do without is that the scale briefly displays a weather/temp.during the scale reading which is meaningless since it's acquired from the internet.This scale differed in weight by about 2lbs against another digital scale I have.Although the true accuracy should be confirmed against a calibrated scale such as what's used in a medical office.I wouldn't recommend this scale because of the slippery plastic feet.

Advertised pregnancy tracker removed
I needed a new scale, was going to go for a $30 model from another brand I'd used previously but decided to upgrade due to the advertised 'pregnancy tracker' as my wife is 4 months pregnant, and would enjoy seeing our baby grow.Well they removed that feature in July of 2022 I've now discovered. Plenty of time to update the description of the item and remove the baby pictures. Blatant false advertising.Just buy a renpho.

Scale Body is accurate, easy sychro, you may have a tendency of your weight, my only wrong was believe that IMC means % fat, but is only an algorithm between weight and height.I believe that if I would have know this, I had buy a Body+, but, of course, the price would increase at the double.Highly recomendable

Fantastic Quality

Amazing scale!
I needed a new scale and wanted a smart scale. I read many reviews before deciding on this one. It is sleek and does not take up any more room than my last one. I really love the features it has. I weigh every day. I love how it will tell me how much I gained or lost, my BMI, the weather all at once!!!!!!!!!! I like how it automatically sends that info to my phone. I was also able to integrate it with my Apple Health, so it shows my steps, sleep, weight, walking, exercises, etc. all in the app. I am very happy with this scale.

Bought this Withings Body scale to replace a crappy Etekcity scale I purchased a few weeks ago. Already on initial setup I like this scale soooo much more. The build quality is fantastic, it feels hefty and sturdy. The display is clean & simple, and you can choose what information appears when you first link your device to their app. My first 3 measurements on the scale were all within a standard deviation of 0.2 lbs. which I consider to be within an acceptable margin for accuracy. I dislike that most scales seem to require an app nowadays, but it's something I can live with. The Withings app seems minimally invasive to privacy at least. In spite of that, it's a very user friendly app, excellently designed and can be connected to Google Fit to track steps, food intake, etc. All really nice features even if I won't end up using them.Also comes with carpet feet if you're unable to use the scale on a flat solid surface, not sure how accurate the measurements will be on carpet even with those feet installed... but it's there if you want it I guess. Very happy with my purchase.

Great tool to track your weight
I like the graph provided to track the weight. The vedor provided four rubber feet to be installed for usage on carptetted floor. However, the scale was reporting 20 lbs less than the actual weight. I am using one of those plastic surface for rolling chairs on carpet and it fixed the problem. As a result, I provided a rating of 4 stars. Also, one must be carful when stepping on the scale because the top cover is very smooth and may be slippery. So far so good.

This scale tracks multiple members of the family.It displays weights as a graph.This scale will also measure a baby or child as you hold it.We use it to weight our cat!He is on a diet and the vet wants to know!We are having a great time with this scale.Good purchase at a decent price.One note is that although the scale communicates and records information on our phones it is an earlier model.It does not work on a G5 network.We have to set our phones on the old network level.

Prior to buying this scale, I read reviews that complained about the difficulty in setting up.For me, it took more time to unbox the scale than to set it up.Seriously, once unboxed, it took no more than 3 minutes to set up.No problems at all.If you use only bluetooth, the set up is even easier.If you also connect to your wifi, you just need to know your network password.You have to download the software for your phone, but that too was very easy.After set up, I tried the scale and it works great.Easy to read.Oh, and the scale is a bit heavy, and like any good piece of equipment, you don't want to drop the scale.I am 100% satisfied.

Purchased for a child who started living alone. I have a black first-generation model that I purchased about 10 years ago at home and I can still use it. It is easy to link with the iPhone, and you can easily see the weight trend on the iPhone. It is large and heavy, so it is not suitable for use where you have to stand it up and tidy it up.

Perfect for what I need
Very accurate for me compared to my previous scales. The app and set up was not hard to do at all, Just follow the instructions.When it tells you to go to the webpage displayed on the scale, just have the app set up on your phone ahead of time, then go to add new device, press the Bluetooth button on the bottom of the scale and boom it will set itself up.The key is too have the app set up before you start with the scale.

I personally found setup slightly cumbersome but your mileage may vary. My main issue was getting the app to pair. After that process was restarted two or three times it has stayed paired and given me no issues. I had a secondary issue adding my wife (the links were broken when sharing) but brute forcing it worked after a while.All other functions work great.

Would buy the scale again - Recommendation!
I have a Withings watch and therefore the app where a lot of relevant data is collected, including cardiological data. I have now integrated the scale into the Wi-Fi and am very satisfied. Finally, I have found a scale that reliably shows me weight and trends. And very accurately! The installation was very easy.

TL;DR - While it's a bit of a pain to set up at first, it works flawlessly after and gets out of your wayThe Good: - Connects with fitbit app - Connect it once when you set it up, then forget about it.All weighings are automatically pushed to wherever you set it up to push them (fitbit app, withings app, apple fitness) - Accurate - Weighs quickly without the need to 'tap it first'The Meh: - Setting it up is a bit of a process.Took me about a half an hour and a couple of failed startsThe Bad: - It does send your stats to a server that Withings runs, if you want to have it auto-sync (which is the primary reason to get it).That said, if auto-sync is a feature you want, you won't find anything in this price range that doesn't do that.Before this, I had bought a fitbit aria scale, because I wanted to track my weight in the same place as my calories and sleep.The aria scale had two major problems:1 - the aria requires you to pull out your phone, hit some buttons, stand on the scale, and wait for it to connect to save your measurements.Huge pain in the still-too-large behind.2 - the aria is accurate +/- ~7 lbs.Which is to say, it isn't accurate.This scale has no such problems.Setup is a little bit of a hassle, but it only needs to be done once.

I'm just curious how I gained 10 lbs today, especially when I've been dieting.Then, you move it to another location, and I've lost 8.I've had to replace the batteries numerous times, and it just doesn't give be an accurate reading.It used to before I replaced the initial batteries.Now, it's just messed up.And, I've compared my weight to other scales, asked it indicates that I'm a about 3 lbs thinner, except with this one puts 8 lbs on me.And, yes, I've recalibrated it.Still, seems off.

Pregnancy mode is not available
I was looking for a scale because I became pregnant and wanted to keep track of my weight gain. I purchased this one because it had a pregnancy mode, but when I received it and set it up, I couldn't find the pregnancy mode anywhere. Even on the website, there was no clear information, and after searching, I found out that they stopped providing the pregnancy mode to new users since July 9th, 2022. They may improve it in the near future, but I don't know when... If I had known, I would have bought a cheaper one. I'm so frustrated.

Simple But Effective..When It Was Working
I bought the scale directly from Withings about 3 years ago, worked fine until recently. The weight unitschanged from pounds (LB) to kilograms (KG) and I could not get it back. There is a button on the bottom of the scale to change units and this did not work. It was suggested by Withings support thatI do a factory reset, this still did not work and once I did the reset I could not get the scale to re-connect to the app.Overall before this happened scale was fine, the scale would tell you if you had an increase or decrease in weight since your last weighing. If you are using the app they send you a weekly email with your average weight for the week.It was simple but effective. The only thing I did not like about the scale is the weather forecast. Why would I want the weather forecast on my scale???

Sync Much Weaker Than Advertised
This works nicely as an accurate bathroom scale, but syncing up to the Withings Health Mate phone app is only a once-in-a-while proposition. It seems to help to have the app open, the phone near the scale, and the Bluetooth on (though the literature states none of this is necessary).In my experience, the sync-up to Google Fit is nonexistent. In the month I've had the scale, neither the scale or the app has transferred one weight reading to Google Fit. (I also have the Withings blood pressure monitor, and that device [same app] sometimes transfers my BP to Google Fit, sometimes not).

Doesn't work well for more than one person
I synced it up to my phone and all went well, the. I used the share feature to sync it up to my wife's phone.At that point it would work for her and her weight would go into the app, however it has never synced up to my phone again after syncing it to her phone.It still knows it is me when I weigh myself but it doesn't get toy phone.

Does NOT PRPERLY RECORD WEIGHT
I submitted the following to Withings:When I step on the scale, the arrows in the bottom left and right of the scale display flash continuously no matter how I adjust how I stand. Thinking that the batteries need changing did this. Still flashing! Might this be a network problem, I checked the network connection- it was good. Still! Then I checked pairing with my iPhone- it was reset. Still have the problem. I have run out of options. Can you help?their answer: nothing!!!Can you get them to respond?

Nothing but Trouble
I bought this scale because it had good reviews on Consumer Reports.Boy were they wrong.I could never get the scale to switch to lbs from kg.The app was confusing and locked up when my wife tried to add herself to the account.I returned it and bought a great scale from Renpho for a much better price.

Always connected, accurate, so useful
I love this connected scale! As soon as you stabilize your weight reading it’s gets uploaded to the app and also to my Apple health.The scale is not require constant recalibration like most other ones.It gives you a nice grass at the end and also tells you what the weight loss or gain is from last reading.A comes with pads for stabilizing on the carpet. I bought several other skills but this has been the best by far

Almost a work of art
Taking the scale out of its box was almost like getting a new Apple device. The packaging exuded careful thought, care & pride-in-product. By the time I had the scale in hand, I already assumed it was of high quality. I followed the brief & clear directions to get it on-line & it updated its software on its own. I stepped on & the weight was accurate as was the BMI & weather prediction. I found the display characters hard to read until I removed my bifocal glasses. I’d be happier if the display was a bit larger but I got used to it. The mobile app display is rather complicated but I’ll get used to it too. The day to day weight tracking works smoothly considering the scale reports weight to a 10th of a pound. All that & it looks fairly classy on the bathroom floor.

pretty good scale
It seems built pretty sturdy. I was impressed with it's heft, but nothing unheard of. The balance is pretty good and you really have to try to stand on the very edges to get it to tip, which wasn't the case with my last scale.I'll be honest I don't use the apps, though. My wife uses them to track herself and me, but I'm just making sure I'm not losing weight rapidly, personally, so the tracking isn't a useful as going other direction slowly over time.

Good scale with a good app
I already had the Withings Move ECG watch before and therefore knew the app. Now with the scale, it's really perfect. The scale has many great features and multiple profiles can be created. It also recognizes, with multiple profiles, who is standing on the scale. The setup was simple and the connection with the smartphone was easy. The instructions are easy to understand.

I'd had a Qardio for some years which quit working. This worked perfectly and was easier to setup initially than the Qardio ever was. Appreciate that I do not have to have my iPhone near by while weighing.

My new Withings scale replaces my old Withings scale
I have owned a Withings scale for over 10 years. This replaces the previous model, which unfortunately could no longer be paired with current iOS or Android functions. The function is flawless. It looks very high quality. The scale can synchronize with Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. There is a web interface and apps for Android and iOS. I have always used Wi-Fi synchronization, then everything runs automatically. The batteries last FOREVER. Even if the battery runs out and is replaced, the unsynchronized measurements are saved. You can create up to 8 users. As long as they differ sufficiently from the data, the measurements are assigned automatically. This scale can measure BMI and weight. There are other models from Withings that also measure body composition. As with all scales that only measure BMI from foot to foot, the measurement is moderately accurate and only to be used as a trend. Regarding the measurement accuracy often criticized in the posts: The scale wants you to stand straight on it. If you lean too far forward or backward, it shows arrows indicating where to correct. Within this tilt, the weight display varies. With me (>120kg), I can vary by about 100-200g with slight weight shifts, depending on how I shift my weight. If I shift it too much, the scale prompts me to stand up straight. Is that inaccurate? I always try to stand in a way that shows and saves the least weight. In comparison, that is accurate enough for me. My girlfriend (49kg) cannot influence the scale in this way. I would buy it again at any time.

Mostly good but...
The only issue I have is that the scale does not display the weight for more than two seconds. Therefore, I literally have to keep my head down the whole time so as to not miss the reading. Other than that, really beautiful scale with great features.I did have some difficulty getting the app to recognize me when weighing but I called customer service and the issue was fixed.

Bought this scale in June of 2021, today January 2022- it's malfunctioning.
Scale is no longer accurate after 7 months ownership. I can get on the scale 4 different times back to back, and it will report a variance of upwards of 30lbs.Each subsequent measure is completely different the the last. Not sure what happened. No damage that I know of has been observed. It just stopped being accurate.Worked fine up until this point though. If not for the quality and durability of the scale I would recommend it. But if it only lasts 7month, probably best to find something else.

I was planning to buy a domestically made product, but I decided to buy this one because the performance of the APP seemed good. The SETUP was also easy, and once the setup was complete, it was measured just by getting on it, and the log was recorded in the iOS Health app without doing anything. I think this product is well-made because stress-free is important for this type of product.

Brilliant Smart Scales
These scales are a great addition to your home. They connect over wifi, making recording readings very easy, since they get sent over wifi to your phone and get recorded on your health mate companion app.You can customise your experience on the app as well as adjust the metric - kg / lb etc.They also look great in white and would make a stylish, sleek and contemporary addition to your home.There are many areas you could research when preparing to buy some scales, smart or otherwise, but mainly; the accuracy, ease of setup, ease of use and longevity of the device are key. Withings gets these spot on and gets a solid recommendation from me.

Nearly perfect, but slips easily
It's easy to use, accurate, and does everything it claims.Subtracted a star because of how easily it slips around on our faux-wood floor. If one were to step on while moving or in a rush, the scale would fly out from under them. As long as you're aware of that, though, it's not a problem.Would recommend this to others.

I was able to get it paired. It took me an hour, though.Yes, folks. I managed to pair Withings Body with an iPhone and Android phone. These are the steps.1. Install the Health Mate app on your phone2. Turn off Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on your phone. This step is crucial.3. Open the app and go through the onscreen instructions.4. If the app asks you to turn the scale on, turn it ON by pressing the power button for 3 seconds. The power button is underneath the device, precisely in the middle. What an inconvenient design decision.5. When the Health Mate app asks you to turn on Bluetooth on your phone, go ahead and do that and then go back to the app.6. Health Mate app will ask you to connect the scale to the Wi-Fi. Don't do that. Do not enter your Wi-Fi username and password. If you do, the scale will try to install an update. The problem is that it will restart after the update and ask you to follow all these steps again.I haven't started using the device yet. I just bought it home, came across this 'Setup Failed' problem, and fixed it. I thought of posting this here. I will post an actual review later on.

Great scale
Scale works well, also measures BMI. I really like that the App allows you to set goals and graphs your progress through daily weighing. You can also set reminders on the app that will let you know it's time to weight yourself in the morning. I would definitely follow it's recommendation to set reminders and weigh daily, it keeps you motivated to not swing through that drive through when you otherwise would have.

A different weight every day
To be honest, I didn't believe the negative reviews. But really, stay away from this scale. The weight is really random. I had a difference of +2 kg from one day to the next. Since I had another scale, I could compare and the weight remained the same. Unfortunately, this scale cannot be recommended.

Wi-Fi Didn't last a past the first battery change.
The scale worked great until the first time I had to change the battery (about a year). After that it won't connect to my phone or my Wi-fi. The Scale gets stuck in a loop on the welcome screen. no matter how many time I reboot the scale, my wi-fi, or delete it from my phone.

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
I really liked this scale for the first couple of weeks I used it. But, then it started to act funny. When it's working, I step on it and after a few seconds, the reading blinks to show that it's been established. Then it shows a trend line and a reading of how much has been gained or lost, then it gives the BMI reading. All good. But, sometimes when I step on it, the reading appears and in the two lower corners, there are arrows that flash and the reading isn't established. I have to step off and step on a few times until it acts properly. I'm very disappointed. Apparently, I'm beyond the 30-day window for returning it, so now I'm stuck with a nice looking scale that sometimes works. I don't recommend this scale.

Give to your BMI
Easy to set up and connect to their app. Like the BMI option. Comes with covers for the feet if using on carpeted surface.
App is easy to use - keeps track of weight every time you step on the scale. (So for my 3 weigh ins I go into the app and delete all but the first reading of the day.)
One negative it it’s consistency in getting an accurate weight. Depending on where I step (within seconds of getting a reading - step off / step on when screen clears) on the scale my weight can vary by 3 lbs. trying to stand in the same location to get a consistent weight from day to day. Maybe there can be footprint outlines on the surface so users can step in the same spot.

If you are interested by the body fat function...
At the time I purchased this scale, the description said it gives body fat %. It doesn't... I was a bit disappointed and thought about returning it but I found the body+ (the upper version which has it) to be quite expensive at 120$. I bought this one to replace our old Qardio Base which did calculate body fat % like the Body+. I wasn't very pleased with the body fat function, which works the same way as with the Body+. I don't care too much how close from reality the readings are, I'm more about the variation through time. To me it didn't make sense, I just couldn't track my progress using this feature. I have another hand held device that works better for this (at least for me). I wish it would sync automatically with Apple Health app, myfitnesspal etc. but to me, entering data I can trust manually is still better than having wrong data syncing automatically as with the Body+ or the Qardio Base (I'm talking about body fat only here. Weight DOES sync automatically with the base Body version). I also saw that the Body+ had twice as many 1 star reviews as the base Body version and the main difference is the body composition (body fat %) feature, so I guess people aren't pleased so much with it, just like I wasn't with my similar Qardio Base. I don't hold so much fat in my legs whatever my weight is so maybe that's why it didn't work for me as well as my hand held device. Anyway, I'm happy with the base Body version, it's much more reliable than the Qardio Base (however I don't know about the Qardio Base 2). Minus the body fat % It's just like I anticipated, I wish it was a little simpler to configure, especially for adding other users, like other said but it's worth the hassle. Once it's done you just step on it when you want to and it works.

Digitalwage online is a hit!
Checking your weight daily, writing it down in a notebook - eventually you stop doing it! And often you don't see the weight correctly. The belly is in the way. You have to put on your glasses... With this scale, the problem is solved: step on it before showering - check your smartphone during breakfast - and eat one less bun. And you also have an online documentation. And much more in the app. And you can connect the app with the apple-app Health and automatically transfer the data there.

Very Accurate and Convenient to Use
The most important feature of a scale to me is accuracy.This one seems to be very consistent and accurate.You have to pay attention when you step on the scale that your weight is centered on the platform and you remain still.The scale tells you when you are not centered and which way to adjust your weight.I am on a very detailed diet plan and want to know how my weight is changing every day.I am very pleased with the Withings Body scale in this regard.My only complaint is that the plastic feet slide very easily on on the tiled floor of my bathroom and you have to be careful that it doesn't move when you step on it.if the scale moves, one of the feet can drop into a crack of the tile floor and it will not measure correctly if all four feet are not seated solidly on the ground.

Worst setup of any smart device I have ever used.
This scale has the worst setup processes of any wifi/smart device I have used in my whole life.For some reason you are required to use a phone to setup this Wifi scale that does not require a phone during normal operation. This would not be a big deal expect the setup process and app only seem to work correctly on a a very small number of android devices. I had to go threw 5 different android phones/tables until I found one that would setup the scale to use my wifi. In some cases the phones were too old for the app to be installed but in other cases a brand new phone was able to install the app but not communicate with the scale. Eventually I found that a child's fire tablet was able to connect to the scale and input the Wifi ssid/password.Once the setup is complete the scale works great and can be linked with my fitness pal. Measurements are sent automatically and there is no need to use the phone/tablet you set up the scale with again. Some of the configuration options can be very confusing and are poorly explained, but they do work.The weight measurements seem to be accurate on a hard surface. However, the body fat measurements might as well be random and seem to change drastically each time the scale is used.I am a bit worried about what happens if Withings goes out of business or ends support for this scale. If that happens we might be left with a 'dumb' scale that can not connect to anything.If the setup process was fixed I would give this scale a 4/5, but until it is addressed properly it is at best a 3/5 and even that might be generous.

Our old scale was dying and wanted one that would load to Apple health.You need to use the Withings app as a conduit.Set up it works as desired - multiple family members use it, it recognizes by weight alone, just stand on, tells you weight, change and then sends the data through to health.Setup was reasonably easy - took 10 minutes maybe.

Inconsistent measurements

I’m a Withings existing customer, and have had the Sleep pad for month now.Bought this scale during the Prime Day sales, arrived very quickly, and set it up within minutes.I did not want the Plus version, as it only measured the fat% between your legs, and that’s not where the fat you should be concerned about.So far, I have no issue with WiFi, and App.The scale is very sensitive and highly accurate, so make sure you stand on the scale very still before the measurement is taken.The data is then sync to the server via WiFi, and available on my App immediately.I’m using 4xAAANiMH rechargeable batteries, and the scale is working happily with them, it will probably not last 18 month, but I am ok with that, as I DON’T want generate all these dead batteries that go the landfills.I’m planning to recharge them every 6 month anyway.

Website is unresponsive and has me in a perpetual loop. Cannot get help.
The scale is fine. A little touchy about getting your feet place 'just so'. I wanted to share this with my husband. For some reason, his data won't go to his phone. I logged in to the website for help. I forgot my online password. Changed password, no problem. But once in, every time I tried to reach the Help Center, it put me right back at the login page. Fed up with lack of support or anyway to get a question answered. Don't depend on the digital transfer aspects of this scale.

Love this! I use it with 'Monitor Your Weight' app (better chart than Withings' 'Health Mate' app)
I'm doing Noom and I'm on an Android phone. I love the Noom program and it's working great for me - but their Android interface is a little bit less robust than iPhone's when it comes to showing the weight chart. I wanted to be able to see my weight points, with all the ups and downs without it being summarized into a trendline when looking at several weeks/months on a single screen.
It took a LOT of searching but I finally found 'Monitor Your Weight' ('MYW') app and love its chart (picture attached). This app interfaces via bluetooth and wifi with several different scales - Withings is one of them (also integrates with Google Fit and several other scales). I've lost 10 pounds in 3 months. See attached photo - this shows 3 months, from 3/11/2021 to 6/8/2021 - with all of the detail that I want. I also had a few questions during the setup of the app and the developer was very responsive and friendly.
I still had to download the Withings' 'Health Mate' app, to be the link between the scale and the Monitory Your Weight app. It was a bit of a pain to set up and create an account, but I do like the free daily meditations.
Now all I do is weight myself in the morning and both apps automatically get updated within 1-2 minutes, even if my phone isn't nearby and even if the apps are not open. Happy customer!

Convenient to save records on Wi-Fi
I used a weight scale without communication function, but the records did not last long. It is very convenient to be able to record via Wi-Fi just by getting on, and if linked with healthcare, you can manage your weight alongside the degree of exercise without any effort, so even lazy people like me are likely to continue for a long time.

Works as good as my Lose It! Health 0 Meter
I bought this for my daughters house. I have a Lose it! Health O Meter at home. I was not going to bring the scale with me when I go to her house and so I bought this one for her house. I keep track of my weight since I had a heart attack in May 2020 and I have to lose weight. (so far I lost 50 pounds). this is a good scale. as accurate as my other scale.

Love this smart weight!
I have the habit of tracking my weight but I don't like to write them down. With this smart weight, I don't need to worry about it at all. It will send the report directly to my phone. I also enjoy reading the trending graph. Highly recommended!

Safety Hazard - Shards of glass in bathroom
I had it for less than a week. I stubbed my toe on it causing it to bump my other scale next to it. Glass instantly exploded everywhere on my bathroom floor.

Meets the need
Works well with limited metrics if all you want are weight and BMI. Wifi and app work well, and with some fiddling and 3rd party app(s) can automatically upload to Strava and Zwift.

Great weight tracking tool
It was easy to set up and add members of the family. I like out it tracks your weight in a line graph. Everything is available on your phone app so this is really convenient. Recommended!

I can't really praise their accuracy, since I don't have anything definitive to compare it to.It's very easy to read.It's interesting to see how long it takes (more time than I thought, to stabilize. If your feet aren't perfect, it'll tell you to change and what direction. Interesting.I'm not too happy with the mobile app however. I still haven't figured out how to output the information so I can send it to my doctor.

Very good scale
I have tried a number of electronic scales. This one is more expensive than many, but I have grown to like it. It has better accuracy that most, and shows weight to the nearest 0.1 pound, unlike most. Apparently, this is partly because it guides you to stand in a balanced position on the scale. If your weight is not balanced across the scale, it shows arrows to shift your body until it is balanced -- and then reports the weight. I like the feature where it shows the difference between the current and previous reading, along with a small graph of recent trends. You can also see BMI and other things, but I don't use that feature. The numbers and graph are easy to read. The app allows you to connect the scale to a website using WiFi. Once connected, you can see more historical data on the website, and do other things. The only issue I had was that the scale would not connect to my WiFi extender for some reason. I had to connect to the wireless router directly, but it did that successfully even with a pretty weak signal.
For someone who wants an accurate scale, especially one that tracks weight readings, this is a good product. It also interfaces with other health-related devices through the app if that is desired.

Sync Fails Regularly
I’ve had the scale for about five weeks and have had to reset the sync between the scale and the app three times. And if you don’t have them synced you can’t get an accurate reading on the scale - or at least I hope it is accurate. I’m going back to a regular scale and manually enter my weight into myFitness Pal. What a waste of resources.

Spot On!
I needed a scale that is accurate and this scale does that. Also the app allows me to track my weight over a period of time. I can actually stand on the scale and go to the app and get the weight if I miss the scale cycling my weight.

Easy to set up -- and the app is great
I had been using a Qardio scale for the last several years.This scale was cheaper and the app is MUCH better.The display is simple, easy to read and much faster than my Qardio scale.Very easy to customize -- so while seeing the weather on your scale might be nice for some -- I don't want it -- and it was easy to turn off.Setup was about as easy as anything I've ever purchased.Download the app first -- and it recognized the scale immediately and walked me through the process.Integration with MyFitnessPal is also a bonus.

I'm pleased with it
First, I'll be upfront and clear — my experience with the device is high enough that I would enthusiastically recommend this product. Some details; I can't speak to the accuracy of the device, but my experience is that the device is consistent, even when I try to 'trick it' by weighing myself multiple times in a 60 second time period. The scale will sometimes capture the same weigh session multiple times — this may impact people that are tracking by averages due to the fact the number of duplicate weighings can vary. This device, for me, is one part of a suite to keep me fit which includes MyFitness Pal for calorie tracking, my Apple Watch, and a modest garage home gym (e.g. total equipment value is less than $600) — the combination of calorie tracking and this scale has been incredible.
In short, I like the product, I think it's helpful, but you will get more out of it by doing some calorie tracking along with.

Defective after almost 3 years
I bought the scale almost three years ago and since then it has performed its service inconspicuously. Now it suddenly consumes a set of batteries in less than 24 hours. This makes it no longer useful. I searched online for a solution and several other users describe the same problem in the Withings forum. There, the tip was also published to completely reset the scale. I also tried that, but unfortunately it did not solve the problem. So the only option left is to dispose of it and purchase another product. I am a little disappointed with the short lifespan of less than 3 years.

Works as well as I wanted it too, you can set up notifications to remind you to weigh yourself daily and the mobile app (while cumbersome) is intuitive enough.Pricy, and I wasn't about to pay an extra 30 for a relatively speaking imprecise method of BF measuring, but should pay for itself if I actually end up losing any weight.

Easy to setup & use with Apple Health
The initial setup requires the Withings HealthMate app, but once you go through the first setup and get the unit connected to WiFi (and allow it to send data to Apple Health), everything else just works. You can even share the scale with others in the house (they need to onboard through the Withings HealthMate app), and the scale will automatically recognize the person and send their data to their app.

Fails to connect to Wi-Fi and loses measurements
I really wanted to like this scale, but after several months of using it daily, I noticed that it intermittently loses weeks of measurements. I wish I had caught this issue much sooner. I reached out to Withings support for help resetting the device and configuring Wi-Fi, but after several emails back and forth, there were only able to point me to generic troubleshooting and blog posts that I had already tried. I will likely use this device as an old fashioned scale for a while before looking for a different option.
When it works, the scale is great, but its reliability issues are a deal breaker for me.

Worked well for over a year, now it won't sync to the app
The main reason we bought this scale was to track our weight via the app. After a year, it stopped syncing. We have changed the batteries over 6 months ago, haven't changed our wifi, router location or scale location/floor type. Withings will not stand behind this product and has asked me a ridiculous amount of questions to troubleshoot. None of their suggestions has changed the issue of non-syncing to the app. It is out of warranty and customer support through Amazon, and Withings will not replace. Trying another product next time as I don't want to replace my scale every 18 months.

Great scale but be careful on slippery tiles
This is a great scale with great features. There is only one problem; it slides in a tile floor. The feet are hard plastic and it lithos thing can be dangerous unless you are paying attention. I put little pieces of gorilla tape under the feet to stop the constant movement.

Works! But doesn't support Fat %.
This lower-end model doesn't show you the body fat % like some of the other cheaper scales do. You need to buy the upgraded model for that. Otherwise it works very well and is much more reliable on Wifi than the bluetooth scales out there.

Absolutely worth the extra $$. Ordered it after my previous digital scale stopped working ( it also had good reviews btw) but this is light years ahead in quality and design. As a quick sidebar it is alsothe current best rated home scale on Consumer Reports.

Inaccurate repeated readings
Weighing myself repeatedly produces numbers that bounce around 5 pounds at a time. Junk.
The buggy setup to get it on your WiFi is an added annoyance.

Great Set of Scales

Good For Weighing Things and People
Easy to setup and use. Could have used a 'beep when done' feature. Also could have used a handgrip on the rear. If my hand is wet the glass and plastic are hard to get a hold of. And the setup asks how much you weigh...fortunately it allows entries to be deleted.
I'd get it again.

Nice readout, easy to set up, and good app
Easy to set up, and synch its app, Healthmate, to other apps like My fitness pal, Google fit and Samsung health. Nice bright, and easily to see readout. Got the black version, which does need to be cleaned regularlyas shows up dust and marks. But well pleased overall. Differs by about two pounds from my old scale, but who knows which of the two is more accurate. It doesn't really matter, as the app records the readings, and trends with a list of readings by date, and a graph by week, month or year, and it's the relative changes which are important. Happy with purchase

Who'd have thought
a scale would make weight loss more enjoyable. It's dead on accurate to our certified scale at work, and repeatable to within 0.1 lbs.

A true Smart Scale with just the right features
Love this scale. I've had a Bluetooth one in the past and having the stats is good, but always having to have your phone around to sync the info is a PITA. As the Withings is WiFi it automatically syncs up without having to worry about that and it just appears in the app automatically. My partner and I are very similar weights, so when you weigh yourself there is an ingenious feature where the two people are shown on the display with arrows. To choose the person you want to record the measurement against you lift one foot so you weight is on the side of the name you want to choose. Really clever!I've bought the Withings Thermo based on the excellent experience I've had with this scale. I'm totally sold on the Withings Health products now and wouldn't consider any other brand.

Perfect replacement for my existing scale
I had a Body+ that I got as a gift many years ago. I loved the feature of recording readings to the phone app. Recently, its Wi-Fi connection became erratic. I counted on the scale to update readings. Without that feature, the Body+ was just a scale. I replaced the Body+ with the Body because I only want the weight recording. The other functions of the + were not of interest to me. I could not be happier with the replacement. Wi-Fi issues are non-existent now, and I am back to what I have been used to for years.

Einfach gut!
Very nice design, can be set up very quickly with the app. It's a pleasure to step on the scale in the morning!! Above all, the scale shows the same weight when weighed multiple times in different places, which I couldn't say about my old scale. I don't like the material of the feet. The scale slides very quickly on tiles and laminates, so be careful when entering these areas! ... but it's not a reason not to buy it. You just have to know it!

Loved my birthday gift from my children when I stood on it it said happy birthday lol it know who I am unfortunately it keep reading weight going up not down so I guess it’s broken or I been putting weight on over Christmas. And have a lot of work to do as the app help me keep a eye on my progress

Well worth it. No need for more expensive versions
This is the cheapest way to join the Withings family and it is well worth it. The scale is great and all but the app is star of the show. If you’re into the data and tracking your metrics then grab this scale and download the app.The iOS experience combined with Apple Watch data is hard to beat. It keeps getting better with each update as well. More and more in depth insights. Individual scale readings every now and again are meaningless; what matters are the averages over a week and trends over a longer period. The app does a great job of tracking and displaying these and many other trends in a very user friendly way.The scale itself is sleek and accurate. I used to use the Fitbit smart scales and enjoyed the Wi-Fi connectivity for hands free syncing (compared to the cheaper Bluetooth scales). This one is much better for a lot less. Also, Fitbit doesn’t let you export your weight data but Withings does.I wouldn’t bother with the more expensive scales offered by Withings. The body fat % estimates are mediocre at best and laughably inaccurate at worst for any smart scale. Save your money and get this one.

Automates sharing with google fitness and then noom
Giving 5stars because once I got it working, and connected to google fitness, it just auto feeds into noom and other apps. I don't have to reenter data or remember to do anything but weigh myself in the morning. It's amazing how these little things make a difference, but it's appreciated.
Had it for over a month now, has not exploded like other high profile reviews warn against. I'm heavy (over 250lbs), and it's able to deal with that just fine.

Very easy to setup, quick readings
I had a Fitbit Aria scale and this Withings Body scale makes the Aria look like garbage. Setup is very quick and easy. Readings are quick and don't require a balancing act. It even wished me a happy new year and told me the weather. Data synced to the cloud instantly.
