Blood Pressure Patient Handouts

Remote blood pressure monitoring provides more data for care teams to monitor progression of disease and detect critical changes. It removes the limitations of clinic visits and can reduce barriers for patients such as transportation or childcare needs. However, blood pressure is a highly sensitive measurement and care teams may be hesitant to trust home blood pressure measurements out of accuracy concerns related to measurement technique.

We created these patient education materials to help care teams provide proper blood pressure measurement guidance to their patients and to help patients feel confident in checking their blood pressure at home.
