Cédric Hutchings
CEO
Cédric’s passion for innovation and understanding of consumers' needs fuels Withings’ fast growth. Armed with an engineering degree from Ecole Centrale and a Masters from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Cédric first worked as a product manager at Inventel, overseeing the launch of residential wireless gateways. He then joined Thompson as Marketing Director for Domestic Products.
Driving the development of Withings’ life-changing products, his vision along with partner Eric Carreel, is to radicalize our relationship with health, taking away any pain and fear associated with it and putting us back in control.
On his spare time, Cédric enjoys spending time with his family and play with his soft rock band.
Eric Carreel
President
Eric Carreel’s skills and vision of technology power Withings’ extraordinary capacity for innovation. Eric is an engineer from the Industrial Physics & Chemistry Grande Ecole in Paris (ESPCI) and has a PhD in Engineering from the University of Paris VI. He began his career in institutional research in the field of radio. He then co-founded Inventel and remained its President from 2002 to 2005, being recognized as a major architect of Triple Play in Europe. After Thomson bought the company he joined them as Technical Director for Domestic Products before co-founding Withings in 2008.
He is the author of over 50 patents. His expertise in connectivity and visionary work on vital signals has already revolutionized personal health.
Beyond hard sciences, Eric likes to dive into a literature and philosophy.
